Within me excitement was stirring,
a happiness daunting, new
memories beginning, a
man-made cave opened, she left
no air undisturbed, no leaf unturned
no dream unimagined, she left
in a whirl of wings, a blast
of feathers, in a slowed
hurry, with unspoken fire
she burned through the sky,
she took with her a vision, a
passion, and left behind
a peace of mind, a she
flew towards the heavens
free at the last.

Wow! This was a great imitation poem. I loved the flow and word chose; it really brought the whole thing together.
